“CHRIST”: A PLACE IN GOD- Pastor Chris

Therefore, if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new (2 Corinthians 5:17).

To be a Christian means that you’ve come into Christ. Christ is a person; it refers to Jesus—Jesus the Christ. But Christ is also a place; a place in God. You came into the place called “Christ” when you were born again. So, when you say, “I’m in Christ,” it means you live in Christ; Christ is your home address.

Now, in the place called Christ, where you live, there’s no darkness at all (1 John 1:5); that means sin, sickness, disease, failure, poverty, defeat, weakness or death can’t have dominion over you. Rather, all you have in Christ is a glorious life of health, joy, peace, success, strength, prosperity, beauty, and excellence. In Christ, you’ve been given divine authority and power to reign in the earth, over Satan and his cohorts of darkness. click to see more

That place is also called Zion; the city of the living God: “But ye are come unto mount Sion, and unto the city of the living God, the heavenly Jerusalem, and to an innumerable company of angels, to the general assembly and church of the firstborn….” (Hebrews 12:22-23). What’s the name of the firstborn? Christ. We’ve come into the place called Christ; we’re there now. The natural man can’t see that place, but we live there.

The Bible tells us that when Jesus was raised from the dead, He sat down at the “right hand of God” (Hebrews 10:12,1 Peter 3:22, Colossians 3:1); not at the “right hand side of God.” “Right hand of God” refers to the place of authority and power; and we’re seated together with Him, in that place of authority and dominion. Blessed be God.
